Quebecor names new digital advertising lead

Renaud Langlois will lead programmatic and DOOH teams as the company continues on its roadmap for innovation.

Renaud Langlois has been bumped up to senior director of digital and programmatic operations for Quebecor Expertise Media.

Reporting to Patrick Jutras, SVP and head of advertising revenue, Langlois is responsible for the entire digital advertising team, including programmatic and digital out-of-home, as well as the commercial data monetization strategy.

Quebecor Expertise Media is the company’s ad sales division, which was relaunched under its current name in April. At the time of the rebrand, Jutras said it was to better reflect the company’s goal to provide a “unique and converging ecosystem to optimize our partners’ media placements.” Langlois’ digital expertise is expected to play a strategic role in further developing the company’s roadmap and innovation offerings.

Langlois joined Quebecor last February as director of digital operations, coming off of 15 years with La Presse, most recently as director of digital ecosystem and sales.

During Upfront season, Quebecor announced Duo Q-ID, a marketing intelligence platform that covers all of Québecor’s media assets, including OOH, DOOH, TV, OTT, streaming, digital and print, as well as Echo, which provides geo-fencing and retargeting capabilities for DOOH activations.
