Pattison adds Brampton Transit to its portfolio

The company now handles ad sales for nearly every transit system in the GTA.

Pattison Outdoor Advertising has expanded its transit presence in the Greater Toronto Area with the win of the business for Brampton Transit.

Pattison now handles exterior and interior advertising placements on more than 330 conventional transit buses and exterior advertising formats on over 130 buses in the Züm rapid system.

Like most transit systems, Brampton has had a downturn in ridership amid the pandemic as fewer people are commuting to work or traveling for social reasons, but it reported an annual ridership of 31 million in 2019. The city is also home to more than 700,000 people and 75,000 businesses. With a median age of 36, the city reportedly has a labour force of 320,000 representing over 234 cultures and speaking 115 languages.

With the addition of Brampton Transit to its portfolio, Pattison now handles ad sales for every transit authority within the GTA, except Mississauga Transit. That includes the Toronto Transit Commission, as well as the transit authorities for Durham, York, Burlington, Oakville and Barrie.
