9-1-1 has made a leap to the top of the TV ratings, according to Numeris data for the week of Nov. 29 to Dec. 5.

Global’s procedural drew 1.724 million viewers nationally. It also topped the ratings in Montreal and Edmonton, and reached the top five in Calgary and Vancouver/Victoria.

Rounding out the national top five were Blue Bloods, CSI: Vegas (down from the top spot the previous week), Survivor and The Rookie.

Sports programming also performed well, with Maple Leafs games taking three of the top five spots in Toronto/Hamilton. Despite the Stampeders being knocked out the week earlier, CFL playoff broadcasts also reached the top five in Calgary.

Despite airing its first season finale the week prior, Chanteurs masqués still managed to hold on to the number two spot among Francophone audiences with a behind-the-scenes episode going over the production of the show. That gave Radio-Canada comedy Discussions avec mes parents the opening to jump into the number one spot as it enters the home stretch of its fall season.
